What Is Pediatric Neurology???
Pediatric Neurology can be defined as a doctor who treats children that have problem with their nervous system.
Problems in the nervous system which can start in the brain, spine, nerves or muscles and these can lead to problems such as seizures, headaches or developmental delays.
The Nervous System.
The nervous system is a complex sophisticated system that regulates and coordinates the body’s basic functions and activities.
So when the nervous system is in disorder, it needs the attention of a Pediatric Neurologist.

Brain Tumors . Cerebrovascular disease and stroke. Neurobehavioral disorder and autism. Neuroimmunologic disorder such as multiple sclerosis. . Neurologic complications of sickle cell disease. Neurometabolic, neurogenetic and complex or rare disease. Neuromuscular disorders such as muscular dystrophy and myasthenia gravis. Urgent epilepsy for new-onset afebrile seizures.
